Not quite an extension but we have redecorated the small bedroom that was used as a study, all the guitars and amps fit and it’s been renamed as the music room.

I got a new recorder(flûte à bec) from a French manufacturer. It is for a specific repertoire. It plays much better than the other descant recorder I have which I never really liked to play as they shriek. This is much more fun, and as good as one made in wood. The holes are differently positioned than on other recorders than I play and this will take some time to get used to.
