Went to Westons Cider Mill to get a few essentials :ok_hand:

Spotted a couple of 5s parked at the top of Clee Hill on the way back. One looked like a Kuro.

Anyone?

The Peak District.

There very similar to Kosei K1ts I had a set on my last NC very good flow formed lightweight wheels only 14 lbs . Yours look very good against the blue paintwork. All the best Bob.:+1::+1:

Thanks Bob. I’ve got a set of black wheels and 3 sets of silver wheels and including these which came to me in bronze…they just looked like dirty gold and the Stormy Blue body just didn’t do them justice so I had them powder coated bright shiny glossy silver, the ultimate contrast to the car. I’m happy.
I also have a set of NC3.5 wheels in silver which I’m contemplating having powdered in bright shiny glossy gold…I’ve been sat on the fence about it now for 3 months
I will go there in the summer I think…

Love Sands End! One of our favourite spots when visiting the area. We have really missed going there even though we live in the Lakes. Your car looks stunning Barry.

Sun out, top down and a nice drive out to Newark and over the border into Lincolnshire then home! - The roads… busy, but worse, the pot holes! Was good to get out for a proper post lockdown drive though

You do look more towards the road surface ahead to avoid the holes, more so if you haven’t been that route for a while.

They’ve taken most of the hump away on a canal road bridge near us, I used have to take care crossing it in the NC. The worse bit of road now is the 20-30 metres leading up to the bridge, full of potholes and patches.
They had the road closed for 10 days whilst resurfacing, why oh why didn’t they do the lot?

I’m quite new up here in Nottinghamshire, so many of the roads/routes are unfamiliar to me, and having to keep the eyes on the road surface isn’t ideal anytime, especially if you just want to relax in the enjoyment of driving…!
It does beg the question… if they close the road, why don’t they finish the job??!

Too busy standing around a pot hole peering into it … as normal
