Just been for a quick spin around oulton park .First time on a track not racing but quite a bit of fun
Ps roof down all the way round

A quick 20 mile drive after winter lockdown and lack of MOT until this weeks pass…thought some thing serious wrong very hard and lots of rattles then remembered I’d put 45 psi in each wheel while parked over winter, dropped PSI much better and quieter.
Now that is a easy mistake to make! I did check all my pressures this time round after the hibernation period but I have been known to be ever so slightly forgetful about things!

Round the block to check new spark plugs, seems to have cleaned up the throttle response a bit, although it was pretty good anyway, ngk iridium, £42 off ebay, half hour to fit. old plugs looked ok, only confusion is ngk have changed the part number, took nearly as long as fitting them to clear that up!
Anyway feel a pub lunch coming on this week to try it out some more.
On an errand this morning, to meet up with a mate and pass on a bit of mx5 to him!
Convenient for us to meet somewhere between where we live.
On the A627 near Saddleworth Moor.
A few pics of our mini meet in one of the car parks. Would make a splendid place for a larger meet as things move forward. We chatted with the manager and blagged free coffee’s too!

Sunshine, mate and mx5’s! What’s not to like!

Destination pretty obvious today!
Just thought we’d check for stragglers
post 25th June1314.
Minus 8 wind chill, so hood up for a bit.
We visited when up there last, nice place.
Stayed at Whins of Milton Premier Inn.
Just a hop down the road and handy for Stirling castle too.
It is indeed.
That hotel looked today it was preparing to live a bit again.
A few service vans outside.
Wish we were there, all we’ve managed is the battle of B&Q and not in the NC either.
Ahh Robert the Bruce , a good old Essex boy from Chelmsford I believe
First Aldi trip of the week - scenic route there and back
Store was quiet as I guess many were either at B&Q or in the pub…! (Other hardware stores available Lol!)
Don’t tell him your name, Pike!
Well well…
Her Grand Royal NippySweetyness of Holyveryrude has decreed ah can get oot furra run past mah postull code ye ken.
As of Friday… Freeeeeedom!

Hoots mon…mah kilt’s in a right twist…
In other Breaking News, I turned my keyboard upside down and shook the Pringle & McVities crumbs dating back to last May oot. I’ll use them as a topping for tonight’s pasta bake.
Don’t tell the Missus.
Please remove the photo as I find it offensive.
(The crown is ok)
Visited my elderly friend again, via the long way, to help her with a memory upgrade in her elderly PC.
Alas, after updating BIOS and chip drivers, it was still no go, and back to 3GB. This is apparently because the new 4GB DDR3 DIMM 240pin memory she bought was not dual RANK (needs 16 chips) but quad channel (8 chips) and the old PC just sat there panicking. It seemed a bit like me trying to get out of bed some mornings when the inner ear says any and all ways are up, or down, or round and around, except the right way.
So I took a slightly longer way home to enjoy the sunshine and four tracks from Gary Moore’s Blues for Greeny.
We were once on holiday in America and I succumbed to Labrynthitis! I thought I was dying? Awful affliction

My missus sometimes gets something called BPPV, that is caused by debris or crystals in the inner ear striking the sensor hairs instead of just fluid, thus sending your brain into overload.
It is treatable by something called the Epley manoeuvre.
This is a series of movements of the head designed to move the debris to somewhere less sensitive within the inner ear.
Well worth checking out with your practice or ENT department if it happens again.
Sitting outside at Caffeine & Machine, as we speak!
