Strange times indeed. Still waiting our second
What a fantastic photo at a fantastic location
Tooslow, have you lowered your RF?
It sits really well imho, not too low at the rear, which I understand can be a problem on RF’s when fitted with generic lowering springs originally set for the soft top.
Great photo btw😁
Thankyou,
We’re 4 miles inland from there and have a nice 45 - 60 min loop that we can drive. My wife’s BBR RF and my 1.6 auto NA
Hi there,
And thankyou
Yes the car is lowered with Mazda springs. Not experienced and problems and car does sit nice and level
We are booked in to have adjustable Konis and BBR springs mind to complete our setup.
If you’re interested in selling the old springs…
I was going to go the adjustable route, but may delay that for a few years as I have Bilsteins already that are only a few thousand miles old.
Just went for a local drive, close to home, around the New Forest, in my lovely little red MK2 - I only did about twenty miles, but it was bliss! Nothing beats a beautiful sunny day in an open top sports car - in fact it was so good, that I did pretty much the same thing this afternoon, but this time in my Morgan!
So true!
It charges up our own batteries as well as the one in the car!
I took my Eunos S Special to Kendal the long way this morning from Grange over Sands (usually 14 odd miles), via Winster Valley, over Cartmel Fell via Bowland Bridge, down to Fell Foot and along A592 lakeside to Windermere. From Windermere took the A591 back to Kendal, picked up some bits and then back through Crook to lakeside, through Newton in Cartmel and back to Grange. Usually 28 miles there and back, managed to do 62 miles in total in glorious sunshine. Fab…
Very kind of them, looks awesome
Hi, Have someone who is interested already, but will be sure to let you know if that changes
Lovely roads, where was your start point ?
The Midlands! Lol
Always love an early start to make the most of the roads and Wales has some crackers!
Went via Kidderminster, onto Leominster, Hay on Wye. The A470 through the Brecon Beacons, then via Merthyr Tydfil, Abergavenny, then Ross on Wye towards Ledbury and Westons. Finally from there, it was Worcester and onto home. Quite a day looking at it in print. Roughly 220 miles all in all.
I’m a nice shade of red from all the sun, but it was great to be out and I’m enjoying some Cider as we speak
Wow, great run !
Cheers, it was.
Always enjoy taking it on a good run, especially in this sort of weather.
Out for a cheeky kebab, in Arlesford, after my last day at work
Ace drive that, around my neck of the woods. And I think most people were at the pub, so roads were quiet, well in the Furness area at least.
