Recognise that spot at South Queensferry. Nice pub across the road.

Still closed…not for long by the looks.
Had 2 Cornettos though. Robbing shytes make them half size these days.

stopped off on my way home via Black Mountain again

A tour of Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican today, nice evening for it, but surprisingly busy!
Certainly plenty of examples of distancing being ignored…

More like councils not being held accountable for how badly they handle our money.

Night time drive back from Chester with the stars above my head, and Nugget running on Girl Power fuel.

Jannerland.
Tripod plus slow shutter speed??

Very effective.

I got all excited when you said a couple of birds :disappointed:

I am fairly sure that they do not like you referring to them as “birds” anymore…

I think the accepted term is “feathered flying creatures” or something like that - I have not had the training on what terms are acceptable anymore…

I’ve been watching reruns of The Professionals on T.V. and they call them birds and love and sweetheart.
Maybe I need some training?
 :joy:

Took some back roads (ie no M-roads) out to Wendover and Great Missenden, to look at Garden Centres and Farm shops. We scrubbed a few off the list as we drove past them, so only three in the end…

Four hours away from home;
half an hour at P.E.Mead Farm Shop, includes nearby a gin distillery (HP23 4NT),
half an hour at Hildreth Garden Centre (HP16 0HJ),
one hour eating a very tasty lunch at Peterley Manor Farm’s Wild Strawberry Cafe (HP16 0HH),
and the other two hours driving in the sun on almost empty roads.
The only crowd of people was well spread apart in comfort outside on tables and benches when we were eating.

The only negative point arising from the excursion was the NC’s tyres are getting a bit old at six years, and nowhere near as supple as they used to be, but still infinitely better than were the six-year old Potenzas they replaced.
It’s probably time to change them because with 29psi 2bar inside them I could feel the back hopping sideways a bit on relatively normal (ie slightly worn) roundabouts, and with a twitchy passenger I was driving quite gently and as smooth as possible.
