Thanks
Evening run up into the Scottish Borders (Duns, Grantshouse, St Abbs and Eyemouth). This pic is looking south into the lower Tweed valley with Northumberland and the Cheviots beyond. Two pretty decent (though short) bits of twisty road between Berwick Upon Tweed and Chirnside/Duns (A6105) plus Duns to Grantshouse (A6112) - both quiet on a Saturday evening. The pic was in the village of Foulden (lots of daffodils here in the spring which can make a nice photo too, with the same background).
God luck for Monday!
Barrie
Thanks Barrie
That looks familiar
A 140 mile run with my bro-in-law up the Antrim Coast road then a lovely picnic in Glenariff Country Park. Sunny skies, (amazingly) quiet roads and good company….bliss.
Across Dartmoor
Down to Frodsham.
Had to take a detour from the M6 due to delays between j28 and 26. Only to find delays on the M61 too.
I usually do the drive in the middle of the night to avoid such issues, but I wanted to enjoy the sun. I am now much darker…
Got a return flash of the headlights from a white ND in St Helens, but no wave back from a grey NC in Frodsham.
And i saw another 2 true red NC’s.
Just like drag queens, MX-5’s are everywhere.
ND drivers top the league of “Wavers”…! ![]()
Rob
Took a drive out from Worcester to Ludlow on Sunday stopping at Clee Hills on the way back.
Fantastic views and great weather.
David & Gina.
Yes they did on Monday! I was gobsmacked.
It’s a bit odd up here in Jockhanistan regarding general 5 usage these days.
Of any year or marque, it’s an event spotting one actually moving.
I may come across one or two parked up, but typically a return trip a couple of weeks back from Falkirk to Easdale of around 260 miles in ideal sunny weather…I saw one 5 an RF (parked) in Easdale.
None that day in the big Green Welly car park in Tyndrum either going or returning, and never encountered one driving.
You’d have thought…“what an odd day”
It’s not…it’s the norm…and was pre Cov-id.
You are liable to see more on “Urban Retail Park Poser Duty” than being spanked properly open road.
Took a wee dander up to Elie Lighthouse. A certain mother snapped this…amazing the liberties some folk take when you’re not looking
Was a pleasant place to sit and cogitate, though
First decent trip for ages today.
The wife and I went motoring down to Charmouth, visiting the Lyme Bay Distillery on the way, to pick up a couple bottles of their fabulous ‘Winter Gin’ - nothing like getting in ahead of time !
About 150 miles in all - every yard topless. Loved every minute.
Happy days.
Hi Everyone. Had a day off work today so washed the car and went for a drive from Southport up to Croston, Euxton, Parbold Hill, Rufford and then back home. Great fun👍
