Where did you get one for that price. The ones I’ve seen are closer to £20
From eBay. No idea how effective it will be but I mainly listen via my phone.
Checked my gearbox turret and topped it up as it was empty.
Also attended to a few scratches on the internal plastic trim with a heat gun and brilliant black. Worked very well!
I’m going to attempt a tidy up on my seat bolster aswell. Maybe tomorrow for that though.
I love tinkering!!
Looks different looks great ,Legal?
Car all prepped and new rear Goodyear Eagles fitted ready for trip to Denmark via a one night stay in Yorkshire Dales then down to Harwich, across to the Netherlands and through northern Germany. Don’t think it’s going to stay clean past Monday unfortunately. First time back to Denmark in 20 years or so. It was much easier when there were direct DFDS ferries from Newcastle to Scandinavia.
Yes indeedy
My new lightweight numberplate ha certainly improved the scuttle shake!
Is that actually legal, because that looks amazing
The effectiveness of a stubby aerial depends very much on where you are going to be using it.
When I bought my previous NC the previous owner had fitted one. Pulled in every station in his area around 15 miles from central London.
When I got the car back to my home in rural Lincolnshire and re-tuned the radio I think it pulled in around seven stations. All from transmitters within around 20 miles. Fitted the original full length aerial and pulled in 20+ stations from anything up to fifty miles away.
I’ll keep the original in that little space in the boot
I like that. Where’s it from?
Got my new boot light kits ready to go. Prototype #1 on my car, #2 fitted today by a local owner.
Now listed in the parts for sale section with link to eBay.
Lovely trip you have got planned! Enjoy and have fun!
It’s from eBay. Here is the link
There is a discussion on here started by Roadster Robbie regarding whether to go for a stubby or not if you can locate it ?
I have tried other products from time to time but still go back to certain brands i just buy when they are on offers and sales etc granted i know exactly what you are saying re other brands i am one of those people who review everything no matter what it is … one thing i have learnt is using different products has not effected quality
Fitted new windscreen wipers. I fitted new windscreen wiper rubbers when I bought the car two years ago, but I replaced “like for like” at the time. And the new rubber helped, but I was never overly delighted with the windscreen wipers.
So this week, after reading a review, I splashed out a whole £19 on a set of Bosch Aerotwin wipers. These are an “all in one blade” unit, and they do away with the metal frame. Popped them on yesterday, and had a few showers during today’s drive to test them out. And they make a big difference - much more effective!
